The Soul of the White Dragon ended up containing the whole text, so my initial concern of the large word count, made me do it in one release anyway.

Even with the 1920x1080 size, the zipped size is well under 100 MB. There is a little over 120 images. I have added a 'normal' size font file, and a large font file to show Chinese characters/glyphs.

The script file has 6,500 numbered lines.

Still being a "book person", I added an "Index" divided in 6 parts containing the 31 story chapters + addendum. This way the user can jump to any chapter without using the save function. It can be used in-between.

The future

I hope, I can provide characters who are dressed closer to the description in the text, and with a unique face. The backgrounds may also be improved and maybe a few could be added.

There is no sound on the VN. I didn't want to just put in a few door bells and food steps and the like, if done, it should be done thorough.  Setting up the ambient is more demanding than one would first expect. - If the underlying music does not totally fit the story, it will just drag down the whole experience. I do not even consider voice-over.

For now, I will see what the users say, and spend some setting up the VN for book 2, Rider of the Crimson Dragon.
